Job description

Our client is committed to providing outstanding value and service to retailers and supply partners.  The organisation is founded on the values of trust and transparency across all that they do.  As the Account Manager, you will develop and maintain trusted relationships with partners, suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive performance and outcomes to achieve strategic business goals. 

Reporting to the General Manager – Partner Performance, this largely autonomous role is best suited to an accomplished sales professional who enjoys managing both an existing portfolio and fostering new client relationships.  In addition, some of your key responsibilities will include:
  • Define and execute business development activities and marketing initiatives
  • Identify new business with to meet sales targets and optimal partner performance goals
  • Proactively engage with operational teams to identify and implement improvements to customer experience
  • Drive revenue for through proactive procurement initiatives and key account planning
  • Develop trusted relationships with customer stakeholders, suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
Ideally, the successful candidate will have strong relationship management skills, with the ability to translate strategic concepts into pragmatic, commercially orientated business initiatives.  With a strong service mindset, you have proven experience in customer relationship/key account roles.  In addition, you will demonstrate:
  • Functional knowledge of the Australian agriculture market (preferred)
  • Tertiary Qualification (e.g. Agribusiness/ Business/ Commercial preferred)
  • Significant experience in customer relationship/key account roles
  • Strong track record of operational and process improvement
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a positive and resilient disposition.
  • Open driver’s license.
