Bigo Live is a free app that lets users make videos or live stream to various audiences to connect with people world-wide. BIGO is seeking an Account manager that can complement the youthful glow of this upcoming social media platform.
 
The Account Manager will be out-going, adaptable and comfortable with various social media platforms. They will also be is responsible for expanding the agency and talents portfolio and creating strategies and tactics to enhance agency and broadcaster operations in the local market to drive revenue growth. This role would suit an individual who is looking to grow and challenge themselves with a positive and opportunistic ideology.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and expand the portfolio of new agency and talents leads, including influencer pool, in terms of driving active rate and content diversity by securing new business opportunities and creating trusted long-term relationships.
  • Identify industry insights and trends, and be able to collaborate with account managers to create effective strategies on influencing, and driving growth and performance with agency partners.
  • Lead kick-off campaigns with agencies and manage all timelines, assets, and opportunities for optimization, and set clear expectations with agencies
  • Create, promote, execute, and wrap up both online and offline events and initiatives designed for the recruitment and development of new and established influencers and agencies
  • Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s product, the competition in the industry and positioning.
  • Create weekly, monthly and annual agency management and business development action plan to meet targets and KPI.
  • Provide necessary support, training and onboarding to new leads at a high standard.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience
  • 2+ years of experience in sales and account management with a demonstrated ability to work to and achieve revenue targets
  • Comprehensive understanding of the landscape and new developments in new media, tech, and entertainment industry in Australia and New Zealand.; live broadcast industry preferred. Previous working experience in entertainment industry will be a bonus.
  • Ready to think creatively and be able to present actionable solutions.
  • A team player who can naturally collaborate with a proven track record of working across wide organization.
  • Understand the Internet and be proficient in using mainstream social networks (Facebook, Discord, g+, Instagram, YouTube, Etc.)
  • Rapid learning and adaptability, excellent verbal, and written communication skills. 
  • Analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions is highly preferred.
