The Organisation
Our client is involved with the agricultural supplies across 32 sites around Australia. With a keen focus on sustainability and the community they are looking for an Administration Officer to join their team in East Gippsland. They deal with a number of high priced, specialised bulk and bagged inventory which demands excellent stock control and management.

The Opportunity
The opportunity exists for a strong administrator with great attention to detail and sound knowledge of general accounting and administration functions. The role is a full time 12-month contract with view to permanency for a high performer.

The Position
The administration officer will play a key role in ensuring all inventories are accurate and robust within ERP live systems and will include daily and monthly stock reconciliation.

Key responsibilities for this individual will include but are not limited to;
  • Excellent customer service over the phone and face to face
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Completion of established ERP system inventory reports, ensuring data integrity and Operational Excellence
  • Complete stock adjustments and item transfers in a timely manner
  • Checking and verification of daily bulk production
  • Liaise with Replenishment/Additives Department to ensure adherence to national guidelines
  • Daily and monthly inventory reconciliations and site stocktakes
  • Co-ordinate month end processing to ensure all month transactions are capture
  • Entering and dispatching of customer orders
  • Relief and administrative support to weighbridge, sales teams and senior management
  • Participate in sustainability initiatives and site audits
  • Comply with relevant OH&S legislation

  • Have prior experience in an office environment
  • Understand and comply with policies and procedures in relation to administration
  • Have a sound knowledge of general accounting and administrative functions
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • A high attention to detail
  • Have knowledge around inventory management principles, desired but not required
