We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented AO4 Procurement Officer to join a professional procurement team supporting the delivery of purchasing, sourcing and contract management activities across a diverse portfolio.
This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, analysing procurement data, coordinating tender processes and contributing to the delivery of best-practice procurement outcomes. You will work closely with experienced procurement specialists, providing operational support across a broad range of procurement and reporting functions.

You will work closely with experienced procurement specialists, providing operational support across a broad range of procurement and reporting functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide procurement and purchasing support across a diverse range of goods, services, construction, maintenance and consultancy categories.
- Assist with the preparation, coordination and administration of procurement activities, including quotations, tenders and contract documentation.
- Support sourcing activities by preparing procurement documentation and ensuring compliance with procurement legislation, policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the evaluation of routine and complex tenders, ensuring fairness, transparency and value-for-money outcomes.
- Prepare procurement reports, spend analysis and performance data to support informed decision-making.
- Assist with contract administration and supplier performance monitoring.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and reporting systems.
- Provide advice and support to internal stakeholders on procurement processes and purchasing requirements.
- Build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate efficient procurement outcomes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance procurement practices and service delivery.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Experience in procurement, purchasing or contract administration within a government or commercial environment.
- Sound knowledge of procurement principles, purchasing practices and contract management processes.
- Experience supporting the preparation and evaluation of procurement documentation and tender processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret procurement data and prepare meaningful reports.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering quality customer service.
