An opportunity is available for a detail-driven Business Analyst to play a key role in strengthening document governance and quality across a complex operational environment. This contract role is based in the Brisbane CBD and focuses on ensuring the integrity, consistency, and effectiveness of a controlled document suite.
About the Role
You will be responsible for safeguarding and enhancing a suite of controlled documents, including policies, procedures, and technical specifications. This goes beyond basic proofreading—your work will ensure documents are logically sound, commercially viable, and aligned across the broader framework.
A core focus of the role is maintaining the structural integrity of the document ecosystem. You’ll ensure that high-level documents and their supporting materials are clearly linked, consistent, and free from conflict.
You’ll also work closely with business units to uplift the quality of initial document drafts, reducing post-publication errors and strengthening overall governance practices.

- Identify gaps, conflicts, or risks across interconnected documents
- Map relationships between policies, procedures, and supporting materials
- Engage with stakeholders and subject matter experts to refine and improve content
- Challenge superficial or incomplete updates to ensure depth and quality
- Drive improvements in drafting standards across business areas
- Maintain consistency in terminology, formatting, and organisational standards
