Job description

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to join a government agency based in Melbourne CBD for a 6 month assignment with a possible 6 month extension. 

The Executive Assistant will support two General Managers within the organisation. 

Duties will include; 
  • Providing executive, secretarial and administrative support including arranging meetings, diary and email management, deadline and clearance management
  • Build and maintain internal and external stakeholder liaison on behalf of the General Managers 
  • Work collaboratively across the executive team and provide support as required 
  • Coordinate and prepare correspondence and briefing material as required 
About You

To be considered you will demonstrate; 
  • Previous experience as an executive assistant supporting multiple managers
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise effectively at all levels
  • Strong time management and organisation skills
  • Strong Microsoft office skills 
  • Ability to apply high level of confidentiality, judgement and initiatives 
  • High standards of professional and personal integrity 
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively in a fast paced environment
