The Opportunity
On behalf of a large Federal Government Agency, we are looking for experienced engagement officers to join the team based in either Richmond or Geelong. The assignment will be for 6 months, working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week and will be paying $55.24 per hour plus super.
The APS5 Co-Design and Engagement Officer will be required to perform procedural, clerical, administrative and operational tasks that supports the agency and where required, the role will design, develop and facilitate engagement sessions with internal and external stakeholders.

- Coordinate workshops and events for co-design representing the organisation and providing information to the community.
- Liaise with stakeholders to prepare co-design materials.
- Engage with people with disabilities and their families using a consistent approach.
- Manage a shared inox, triaging enquiries and acting as a point of escalation
- Ability to shape community engagement programs by researching target audience needs and interests.
- Evaluate stakeholder engagement projects for continuous improvement.
- Support stakeholder engagement implementation, including meetings and inquiries.
- Proficient in presenting to small stakeholder groups.
- Desirable: Project management skills/experience and understanding of accessibility.
