- 12 month contract with the possibility of extension
- $60 per hour + Super
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Reporting key findings, observations, trends and emerging risks to corporate committees and leadership networks.
- Developing project and business risk plans to enhance fraud and compliance prevention and detection mechanisms.
- Working with Risk Partners to support areas of the business to analyse risk, identify control gaps and develop treatment plans to support an uplift in the risk environment.
- Undertaking fraud risk assessments and reviews to identify areas of potential exposure in relation to fraud risk and developing strategic initiatives to mitigate risks.
- Gathering, investigating and analysing information and data from a variety of sources and business systems and proposing control improvement strategies.
- Contributing to the management of the Agency’s Fraud Risk Register and Controls Library.
- Risk Management, Project Management, Fraud risk identification and analysis, high level Microsoft suite skills (including SharePoint and Excel) are desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to meeting and exceed internal or external customer expectations while cultivating relationships that secure commitment and trust.
- Having achieved a satisfactory level of technical, functional, and/or professional skill or knowledge in Fraud and Control.
- Ability to adjust effectively to change and managing this by exploring the benefits, trying new approaches, and collaborating with others to make the change successful.
To be eligible for this role you must hold Australian Citizenship and be willing to undergo an Australian Federal Police check and WWCC.
