Job description

DFP Recruitment is currently seeking two experienced ASO6 Senior HR Business Partners to support a large South Australian Government client within the health sector. These are two separate positions with different focus areas and contract arrangements.
 
About the Role

The Senior HR Business Partner provides high-quality HR advice, coaching and guidance to senior stakeholders, supporting workforce strategy, employee relations and organisational outcomes. You will partner closely with leaders to deliver practical HR solutions, contribute to workforce initiatives, and support performance, change and continuous improvement across a complex environment.
 
Available Positions
  1. ASO6 HRBP – Clinical Services Portfolio
- Full-time (1.0 FTE)
- Initial 6-month contract, with potential extension (up to 12 months)
- Commencing in approximately 2 weeks
 
  1. ASO6 HRBP – Pharmacy Services (Backfill)
- 0.8 FTE (Tuesday–Friday preferred; open to 1.0 FTE if required)
- 4-day shadow from 7 July 2026
- 5-week backfill from 14 July 2026
 
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert HR advice across employee relations, workforce planning and performance matters
- Partner with senior leaders to deliver workforce strategies and initiatives
- Build strong stakeholder relationships across business units and corporate teams
- Support change management, organisational improvement and HR programs
 
Key Requirements
- Must have South Australian Public Sector HR experience
- Previous experience in HR Business Partnering at ASO6 level (or equivalent)
- Strong employee relations and stakeholder engagement capability
- Health sector experience highly regarded
- Understanding of SA public sector frameworks and industrial environment
 
Additional Information
- Working within a large, complex government environment
- Screening and compliance requirements will apply (NPC, WWCC, etc.)
