The Role

The APS5 Quality Officer will undertake quantitative and qualitative reviews of plans developed by our client guided by legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies, and precedents with a focus on accurate and technical commentary and risk assessment.
 
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Managing a range of moderately complex to complex quality reviews.
  • Providing professional and technical commentary to review findings to improve decision making, planning practice and performance.
  • Conducting quality assurance and quality control activities in relation to planning processes and/or decision making.
  • Supporting and mentoring team members to enhance quality and correctness of technical skills and knowledge.
  • Assisting to develop and implement improvement strategies to deliver branch goals and strategic objectives.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Strong communication which demonstrates a capacity to develop and maintain productive working relationships.
  • Demonstrated team player with the ability to succeed within a complex and rapidly changing environment.
  • Written and oral communication skills of a high standard, including experience in reporting to a senior executive regarding risk issues.
