Job description

DFP Recruitment is looking for a Business Services Support to join our client within a Government Department located in Boulder. The role is working full-time initially on a 6-month contract with view of extension.

The Role
As a Business Services Support, you will provide operational and administrative support to assist the overall operation of the office.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Reception duties; answering phone calls and front counter enquiries.
• Assist staff with computer troubleshooting and IT equipment.
• Records management functions; creating files, following up overdue actions, creating file structures and maintaining system records.
• Organising catering for events
• Managing ingoing and outgoing mail
• Coordination of travel arrangements
• Fixed asset management and stock-take
• Fleet coordination
• Corporate credit card reconciliations
• Support to regional staff as required

About you

• Strong verbal and written Communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Experience in Records management
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft programs.
