Key Responsibilities
- Review, assess and process Service Claim Authorisations (SCA), Goodwill Requests (GWR) and dealer warranty claims
- Evaluate dealer diagnostics and supporting documentation, requesting additional information where required
- Assess claims against company policies, warranty requirements and Australian Consumer Law obligations
- Provide clear technical recommendations and rationale for claim approvals or rejections
- Respond to dealer enquiries and provide guidance on warranty policies, procedures and submissions
- Escalate complex cases and work closely with internal stakeholders to achieve timely resolutions
- Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation to ensure compliance and minimise risk
- Conduct technical assessments to ensure repairs align with standards and remain cost effective
- Identify emerging product concerns and support broader operational initiatives
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, process enhancements and training documentation
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:
- 3–5+ years' experience within warranty administration, automotive technical support or dealer/workshop operations
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of warranty processes and standards
- Knowledge of Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and warranty obligations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound decision-making capability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook and Word
- Exposure to SAP and warranty/parts management systems will be highly regarded
