Job description

DFP Recruitment Perth are seeking a Communication Lead for a 6 month opportunity. This is a very rare opportunity to be involved in an organisation that is going through exciting changes and to be involved in that process. 
Our client is a not-for-profit Catholic organisation based in the Perth CBD and is allowing for work from home flexibility, working full-time hours (Monday-Friday), with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate. Please note, we are looking for the right candidate with the right experience, you do not have to be practising the faith to be suitable for this position. 

The organisation
Our client is a not-for-profit Catholic organisation that engages in the community and contributes towards various charitable projects. A brand-new communications team is being implemented which will be responsible for executing the current communications plans, noting there is plenty of scope for adaption to the plan to make it your own.

The Position

Roles and responsibilities
● Implement the Integrated Communications Plan - noting there is a lot of scope to adapt, change and add to Plan to make it their own;
● Act as an account manager to identified Projects - divided between the Communications Officers - and work with the Project Leads to develop specific communications plans;
● Coordinate the release of content, information and other materials between all of the Projects with the Communications Officers’ input and support;
● Provide communications support and expert advice for the Transition Program Director, as required and identified;
● Report on the progress of and status of the Transition Program communications to the Project Management Officer and Delivery Board.

Skills & requirements
● Ideally 5+ years in implementing strategic communications plan;
● Excellent writing skills across various offline and online mediums/platforms;
● Experience in internal communications desirable;
● Excellent verbal communications skills;
● Technology savvy with Office 365, CMS, and other marketing tech
stack that can help implement communications plans;
● Highly organised, with exposure to supporting Programs with
multiple projects attached desirable.
