  • Multiple NSW Government Opportunities in Maitland
  • Contract: 3 June 2026 – 2 December 2026 (possible extension)
  • $37.39 per hour + Super
  • Monday to Friday (7 hours per day, 7:00am – 7:00pm on a rotating roster)
We are currently recruiting multiple Customer Service Representatives for a NSW Government contact centre based in Maitland. This is a 6-month contract with the potential to extend.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain government experience in a fast-paced, high-volume contact centre environment.

The Role

You will be the first point of contact for customers, delivering professional and efficient service across a range of enquiries.

Key responsibilities:
  • Answer high-volume inbound customer calls
  • Gather information and transfer enquiries to specialist teams
  • Provide accurate and professional customer service
  • Complete administrative tasks to support service delivery
  • Maintain strong customer relationships across multiple channels
  • Contribute to high customer satisfaction outcomes
About You

To be successful, you will have:
  • 2–3 years’ customer service experience (call centre highly regarded)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in an office environment
  • Intermediate computer skills and strong email etiquette
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook & Teams preferred)
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Previous NSW Government experience is highly desirable but not essential.
