Level 4 Corridor and Project Access Officer

Join our team as a Level 4 Corridor and Project Access Officer. This position supports the Rail Engineering team in delivering low to medium risk projects related to land and freight rail corridors, ensuring efficient land management and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Rail Engineering team members in land and corridor functions, providing specialist advice and delivering land and property projects.
  • Support the preparation of land schedules, policies, and documentation for land holdings.
  • Coordinate land use clearance and access arrangements for third-party users, including utility service providers.
  • Organize meetings and working groups, report outcomes, and implement necessary actions.
Project Management
  • Support the delivery and management of rail engineering projects.
  • Facilitate meetings and working groups related to project delivery, reporting on outcomes and coordinating actions.
  • Provide expert advice on project issues, risks, and opportunities.
  • Conduct research and prepare project-specific reports.
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Additional Duties
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of land and property industry standards and regulations.
  • Participate actively as a team member within the Rail Engineering department.
  • Contribute to reviews of third-party access systems, services, and processes.
  • Assist in policy formulation and review related to land and corridor access.
  • Perform other tasks within your skills and training as required.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Relevant experience in land, property, or rail corridor management.
  • Strong project management and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Knowledge of land use, access clearance, and rail industry regulations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
