Are you a highly organised customer service professional with a passion for delivering exceptional service and keeping operations running smoothly?
We are seeking an experienced Service Operations Specialist to join a busy and collaborative service team. In this role, you will coordinate service activities, support customers, liaise with technical teams, and ensure service requests are managed efficiently from initial enquiry through to completion and invoicing.

About the Role
As the key point of contact for customers requiring service support, you will work closely with field-based technicians and internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless customer experience. This is a fast-paced role requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer service enquiries.
  • Coordinate and schedule service requests with field technicians.
  • Manage service jobs from booking through to completion and invoicing.
  • Liaise with customers and technicians to provide job updates and resolve scheduling issues.
  • Monitor service delivery performance and proactively address potential delays.
  • Process invoicing and support revenue generation activities.
  • Investigate and resolve invoice queries and credit requests.
  • Maintain accurate records within CRM and ERP systems.
  • Provide administrative support to the service team.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
About You

Essential Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in customer service, service coordination, call centre, scheduling, or service operations.
  • Strong administration and organisational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and manage competing deadlines.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Highly Desirable
  • Experience using Oracle JD Edwards (JDE).
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Exposure to field service, technical service, engineering, healthcare, laboratory, manufacturing, or service-based organisations.
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, science, engineering, or a related discipline.
