As Australia’s leading telecommunications and technology company, our client is dedicated to connecting people together and to their devices.  With the telecommunications industry experiencing enormous growth, the local Maryborough Contact Centre is seeking to add to their team of enthusiastic and motivated Service Consultants.  This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is ready to kick start their Customer Service career! As a Regional Centre, we welcome applications from applicants who have the capacity to Work from Home (and commute to the Centre for 1-2 days whilst in training).
 
As a Customer Service Consultant, you will play an important role by providing excellent service support to customers about a variety of products and services and troubleshooting on basic technical issues – it’s a job with plenty of challenge and variety to keep things interesting!
 
Determined, confident and enthusiastic by nature, you will have the ability to work in a busy, multi-tasking environment providing an outstanding level of customer service.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Delivering an exceptional service and interacting with customers to identify their needs
  • Creating a simple and brilliant customer experience, offering solutions that best meet the customers’ needs; you’re not afraid to get in and do some troubleshooting on basic technical issues
  • Building strong relationships and working to understanding the customer’s needs; you will confidently coach customers through technical issues and be able to explain how to use online self-help tools and applications
  • Working in an agile and ever-changing work environment with constant support and leadership guidance
Skills and Experience
  • Experience in a customer-facing role
  • The ability to build customer relationships quickly
  • Confident with computer and phone applications, with the ability to learn and use new systems easily
  • Effective listening skills along with a friendly personality and a genuine desire to help people; and
  • The flexibility to work across a rotating roster between 7:00am - 10:00pm Monday to Sunday, working 36.75 hours/ week. Weekend and evening shifts will accrue relevant shift allowances.
