Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Executive Assistant (ASO3 level) for a 3‑month contract, supporting a large state government health service based in Adelaide.

This is a fast‑paced, high‑trust role requiring a seasoned EA who is confident supporting senior leaders in a complex environment while managing competing priorities and sensitive information.

About the Role

Reporting to a senior Administration Manager, you will provide high‑level executive and administrative support to senior stakeholders, while also contributing to the smooth coordination of office operations and governance activities.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing high-level executive support including diary, meeting and correspondence management
  • Managing high‑volume inboxes, competing priorities and sensitive information
  • Preparing briefings, reports, presentations and governance documentation
  • Coordinating meetings, agendas, papers and follow‑up actions
  • Acting as a key liaison point for internal and external stakeholders
  • Supporting projects, workflow coordination and process improvements
  • Ensuring a high standard of discretion, professionalism and confidentiality at all times
About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or Senior Administrator, ideally within government or health
  • Demonstrated experience supporting senior executives or leadership teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting high‑level correspondence
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
  • High attention to detail, discretion and professionalism
  • Strong Microsoft Office capability (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Confidence working across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholder groups
Requirements
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • National Police Check
  • Ability to meet health and immunisation requirements
  • Current driver’s licence (preferred)
