Job description

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to provide high‑level executive and administrative support to the Director, People and Culture of our client based in East Perth. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and has a strong understanding of People and Culture / Human Resources ways of working.

About the Role
Reporting to the Director, People and Culture, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective operation of the Director’s office. The Director manages a very busy schedule with competing priorities and short timeframes, requiring an Executive Assistant who can anticipate needs, manage multiple tasks, and turn actions around quickly while maintaining a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.

You will work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders across the organisation, providing trusted support at Director and Senior levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive executive support including diary and email management, ensuring priorities and deadlines are met
  • Ensure briefing notes, agendas, correspondence, presentations and other meeting materials are prepared and available ahead of meetings
  • Prioritise correspondence and actions, and follow up on outstanding matters
  • Prepare high‑quality correspondence, reports and briefing papers
  • Undertake research and analysis as required to support decision‑making
  • Organise and coordinate meetings, including logistics and follow‑up actions
  • Undertake purchasing on behalf of the Director in line with delegated authority
  • Provide administrative support to internal (and where required external) committees, including preparing agendas, taking minutes and tracking follow‑up actions
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Demonstrated experience as an Executive Assistant, ideally within a People and Culture / Human Resources environment
  • Proven experience supporting Director or Senior‑level leaders
  • Highly developed organisational, planning and time‑management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with stakeholders at all levels
  • A high level of discretion and confidentiality, and sound judgement when handling sensitive information
  • The ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively as part of a team
