Job description

Our client has recently acquired a successful goat dairy farm with a small beef herd in Southern Victoria.  Following upgrades to various technologies and systems across the operations, they are now on the look out for an experienced Farm Maintenance Worker to ensure machinery is well maintained and repaired as required.

About the role
This role is focussed on the farms machinery and general maintenance and also looking after the cow herd.  The Maintenance Worker is responsible for ensuring the equipment is in good working order so that production is maintained.  You will work closely with the Farm Manager and Supervisors that will work with you to ensure the success of the business and your professional growth. 

About You

You’ll come to this role with experience in working with farming equipment and a drive to continue growing your knowledge.  You’ll have a passion for being part of a team and working closely with others to achieve success.  Along with these competencies, you’ll have the following experience:
  • Strong experience with farm equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with cows (essential)
  • Experience with goats and sheep (desirable)
  • Current Australian driver’s license
  • The right to work in Australia
