Are you an experienced HR Business Partner who thrives on building strong stakeholder relationships and driving employee engagement initiatives?
We're partnering with a leading global organisation to recruit an experienced HR Business Partner to join their collaborative Melbourne HR team. Reporting to the HR Manager, this is a true generalist HRBP opportunity with a strong focus on employee engagement, strategic partnering and employee relations across a diverse portfolio of approximately 1,000–1,500 employees.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys partnering with leaders, influencing workplace culture and delivering meaningful people initiatives in a fast-paced corporate environment.
About the Role As the HR Business Partner, you'll partner closely with business leaders to provide strategic and operational HR support across the employee lifecycle. While onboarding and recruitment are managed by dedicated teams, you'll play a key role in strengthening employee engagement, supporting leaders through complex people matters and driving HR initiatives that create real business impact.
You'll also spend time working from client sites when required to build strong stakeholder relationships and provide face-to-face HR support.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders to deliver strategic HR advice and people solutions
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and support action planning
- Provide coaching and guidance on employee relations, performance management and workplace issues
- Support annual performance review and talent processes
- Analyse HR metrics and provide insights to support business decisions
- Contribute to HR projects and organisational initiatives
- Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders across your portfolio
- Support compensation and people programs as required
- 7–10 years' HR experience with recent experience as a Human Resources Business Partner
- Strong generalist HR background with a particular strength in employee engagement and employee relations
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders across large, complex organisations
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to work autonomously while collaborating within a close-knit HR team
- A proactive, commercially minded approach to solving people challenges

- Hybrid working (3 days in the Melbourne CBD office, 2 days from home however must be happy to work in the office more regularly when required)
