Located in Melbourne CBD, an opportunity exists for a professional and technically-minded candidate to join a global organisation as an Infrastructure Integration Analyst.

This role will suit someone who has hands-on infrastructure experience alongside field experience.

The role:

The Infrastructure Integration Analyst will work with local and remote technical support teams and vendors to provide physical and field support for back-end infrastructure operations and projects.

In addition to the above, duties will include:
  • Physical support for computing, data/voice and microwave infrastructure including problem diagnosis and resolutions in line with ITIL practices.
  • Contribution to and management of project work as required, including racking and disposing of equipment.
  • Development and maintenance relationships with site business contacts to facilitate problem resolution, system change management, project implementation, and vendor activities as required.
  • Ensure all applicable Organisation IT standard processes and procedures are followed
  • Coordinate support for other remote offices/sites as required
  • After-hours support on a rostered weekly basis
The experience you will have:
  • At least 5 years experience in an Infrastructure role within a large or multinational organisation.
  • Physical infrastructure support experience, including problem diagnosis, racking equipment and specific facility considerations
  • Technical knowledge/experience in storage and server hardware, carrier services, TCP/IP networking and associated hardware, BMC Remedy problem along with change and asset management tools
  • Proven field infrastructure experience e.g. visiting sites to assess computing facilities and needs
  • Strong Interpersonal skills, (written & oral), and a strong customer service focus
  • Planning and coordination skills, such as multitasking and the ability to be self-motivated with minimal direction
  • The ability to lead small projects or deliver portions of larger projects
  • Familiar with Project Life Cycle
  • Experience from the telecom industry would be an advantage.
