Senior Policy Officer (Level 6)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Policy Officer to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development, analysis, and implementation of key policy initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and government priorities. You will work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders to deliver impactful policy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:  
  • Lead the research, analysis, and development of policy proposals  
  • Provide expert advice and insights on policy issues and initiatives  
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather input and foster collaboration  
  • Prepare reports, briefings, and submissions for senior management and government bodies  
  • Monitor and evaluate policy outcomes and recommend adjustments as needed  
  • Contribute to strategic planning and policy development processes

Qualifications & Experience:  
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, or related field  
  • Extensive experience in policy development and analysis, preferably at a senior level  
  • Strong understanding of government processes and regulatory frameworks  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills  
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines  
  • Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
