Office Assistant / Assistant Paraplanner 
 
We are currently seeking an Assistant for our Financial Planning client on a permanent basis. The role will be tailored based on the candidates experience level and can suit those that have experience within the financial planning industry, or to those who have finished a qualification in Financial Planning and looking an entry level role. Our client, located within 5 kms of Perth CBD, are happy to train and develop your skills as you build your career in Financial Planning.
 
As an Assistant Paraplanner, your typical duties would include but are not limited to;
  • Research, analyse and recommend suitable products aligned to client's needs and objectives and adviser strategy. 
  • Assist in the management of Financial Planning strategies and portfolios.
  • Requires a high level of technical competence in relation to investments, insurance and superannuation.
  • Work with advisers to develop quality advice for clients.
  • Provide administration services and support to a team of advisers with workflow tasks, document preparation, and liaise with clients to ensure applications are processed in a timely fashion.
  • Deliver strong customer service, answer incoming phone calls and CRM updates.
  • Maintain high levels compliance with legislation.
  • Assist consultants and financial planners with; administration, ROA's, Risk Insurance Quotes, Term Deposit Quotes etc).

The ideal candidates will have the following; 
  • Experience preparing SOAs, product research and selection.
  • Solid experience with the financial planning software or similar financial software (such as Xplan).
  • Be degree qualified (advantageous).
  • 12 months experience within the financial planning industry.
  • Strong communication skills and analytical mindset to think outside the box.
