We are seeking Procurement Officer – APS6 with Procurement and/or Panel management experience.

About the role
Procurement Officer – APS6 will be a part of the Strategic Procurement section. Procurement Officer will manage multiple panel procurement's, complete relevant forms of engagement via panels for example Work Order, Official Order, etc which will require strong organisation and communication skills. 

The Officer will be required to:
  • Analyse data and develop reports from contract data and identify areas of contract improvement, efficiency, savings, and opportunities to increase client satisfaction from contract reporting.
  • Ensure any risks, issues are escalated to the appropriate delegate in a timely manner.
  • Mange the account reconciliation and other contract maintenance.
  • Utilising internal/external panel arrangements and prioritise workloads to ensure deadlines can be met.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support team objective and work with various stakeholders, suppliers when undertaking procurement activities and panel management.
  • Communicate openly, effectively, and respectfully with all staff, clients, and suppliers in the interests of good business practice, collaboration, and enhancement of agencies reputation.
Skills and Experience
Applicants must be an Australian citizen to be eligible for this position. Having Security clearance will be a value add.
  • Knowledge of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and government interconnected policies and how they are to be applied.
  • Must have Procurement and/or Panel management experience.
  • Has excellent communication, interpersonal skills and has an aptitude for collaboration and negotiation with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Facilitating change readiness, has a high attention to detail and a focus on delivery in a fast-paced environment.
