We are seeking an experienced and proactive Recruitment Advisor to join our clients People & Culture team on a temporary basis to support a period of team transition. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, end-to-end recruitment services while partnering closely with hiring managers to ensure a positive, compliant, and efficient recruitment experience.
About the Role
The Recruitment Advisor will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job design and advertising through to selection and onboarding. You will provide expert advice to hiring managers, ensure recruitment activities comply with relevant legislation and policy, and contribute to continuous improvement and strategic recruitment initiatives. While extension is not anticipated at this stage, this role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute meaningfully in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end recruitment services including drafting job advertisements, advertising roles, applicant management, screening, shortlisting, interviewing, reference checking, and onboarding requirements
- Create and place job advertisements, advise on advertising strategies, monitor responses, and coordinate interviews
- Participate in and support interviews, ensuring compliance with organisational policies, EEO, privacy, and legislative requirements
- Provide coaching, guidance, and advice to hiring managers on recruitment, selection, and people management practices
- Act as a key point of contact for candidates and hiring managers, providing clear guidance throughout the recruitment process
- Liaise with recruitment agencies and external providers as required
- Prepare ad hoc recruitment reports for the Manager Employee Services and Senior People & Culture Business Partners
- Support strategic and innovative recruitment initiatives aligned with business needs
- Assist with maintaining accurate employee records and information within the HR system
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven recruitment experience (minimum 3 years), with demonstrated capability managing end-to-end recruitment and selection
- Strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders, delivering a positive recruitment experience
- Knowledge of contemporary HR, industrial practices, and employment legislation
- Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
- High attention to detail and the ability to complete tasks to a high standard
- Proven integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise and negotiate at all levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience using a Human Resource Management Information System
