Risk Manager (Infrastructure Program)

We are seeking an experienced Risk Manager to lead risk, issue and opportunity management across a complex infrastructure program initially on an 8 month contract. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Program Controls, this role will support strong governance, consistent delivery practices, and executive‑level decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead identification, assessment and monitoring of risks, issues and opportunities across the Program
  • Embed a consistent, enterprise‑aligned risk management approach and culture
  • Facilitate regular risk review sessions with project teams and senior stakeholders
  • Maintain and improve risk frameworks, tools and reporting
  • Use Quickbase to record and monitor risks and opportunities, and support the planned transition to CLEW (experience with CLEW highly regarded)
  • Deliver risk and project management training and capability uplift activities
  • Contribute to monthly and quarterly governance reporting, insights and briefings
  • Support second‑line assurance, control monitoring and effectiveness reviews
About You
  • Proven experience managing risk on large infrastructure or capital programs
  • Strong understanding of governance, assurance and risk appetite frameworks
  • Experience with enterprise risk systems (Quickbase essential; CLEW desirable)
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills
  • Ability to operate effectively as a contractor in complex, fast‑paced environments
