The Client
Our client is a successful franchise in the food industry with stores across Australia. They are looking for a full time Sales Manager to join their team in the Latrobe Valley. Sourcing fresh local ingredients, they produce products at a high standard. 

The Position
This position covers all aspects of managing a front counter sales team with a strong customer service approach.

The Sales Manager provides advice to the franchisee on all aspects of the sales operations, directions, and guidance to employees as per competencies for Training qualifications. The Sales Manager is responsible for creating a productive and safe working environment for the sales team.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

  • Supervise front of house sales team
  • Review all sales staff timesheets and process pays
  • Front counter sales techniques such as displays, pricing, loss prevention and cleaning
  • Operation of point of sales system
  • Delivery of on-the-job training in relation to policies and procedures
  • Implement processes and procedures and ensuring training programs are current and accurate
  • Reporting of financial issues to management
  • Establish and co-ordinate administrative duties including but not limited to paper-based filing and records systems, timesheets, and faxes in accordance with set procedures.
  • Comply with all work health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with current legislation

    So, if you have…
  • Certificate III in Retail Operations
  • 2 years + experience in retail management, preferably within the food industry
  • Understanding and knowledge of privacy, work health and safety and anti-discrimination legislation
  • Provide a high standard of customer service
  • Attention to detail with exceptional time management skills
