About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior HSE Advisor to lead safety initiatives across both construction and transport operations. This is a hands-on role where you will drive a proactive safety culture, ensure compliance, and support continuous improvement across all projects. This position could be part-time negotiable for the right candidate.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior HSE Advisor to lead safety initiatives across both construction and transport operations. This is a hands-on role where you will drive a proactive safety culture, ensure compliance, and support continuous improvement across all projects. This position could be part-time negotiable for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and embed a strong safety culture across all sites
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, Codes of Practice, and Australian Standards
- Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Review and approve SWMS
- Lead incident and near-miss investigations (ICAM preferred)
- Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE training
- Support environmental compliance and risk management
- Engage with clients, subcontractors, and regulators
- 5+ years’ HSE experience in construction and/or transport/logistics
- Strong knowledge of structural and high-risk construction activities
- Solid understanding of South Australian WHS legislation
- Proven ability to influence and engage site teams
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum)
- Diploma/Degree in WHS or related field (preferred)
- White Card (mandatory)
- ICAM training (desirable)
- Current Driver’s Licence
