  • 12-month contract with possible extension
  • $602.55 per day + super

As the EL1 Intelligence Team Leader, you'll oversee complex tasks within the organization, focusing on quality outcomes. Your role involves leadership, planning, and resource management. You'll handle projects impacting the organization's objectives, manage stakeholder relationships, and represent the organization in various forums.
 
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Using a Diploma of Government (Investigation) or equivalent to lead and coordinate strategic intelligence planning.
  • Supporting the team's response function, including addressing information requests and responding to senior management and ministerial inquiries.
  • Leading and coordinating intelligence projects to produce high-quality products targeting organized fraud in government programs.
  • Liaising with other agencies, sharing information, and producing briefing papers.
  • Developing reference and training material for intelligence support.
  • Coordinating recruitment and providing managerial oversight for mandatory learning and team safety.
  • Leading a team of Intelligence Coordination Officers, providing specialized advice to fraud investigation teams and partner agencies.
 The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Ability to manage the information and intelligence cycle and apply analytical techniques.
  • Strong communication skills, especially in written briefs.
  • Experience managing a small team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with intelligence gathering systems and processes.
  • Investigative experience.
  • Knowledge of national intelligence and criminal investigations is desirable.
  • Familiarity with national market and corporate regulations is desirable.
