The Opportunity
A prominent figure within the power industry is seeking a part time administration officer to work in assisting the smooth operations of their Production department. This is a job share role working Thursday & Friday’s 7.00am to 4.30pm.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Collect, distribute and register correspondence for the production Department
- Maintain the Production Department's records and prepare reports. Maintain department records, prepare requisitions and other reports.
- Update and file Department & Station Operating and Procedures manuals. Actively participate in and promote site auditing processes.
- Prepare requisitions and maintain stocks of consumable items within the department.
- Assist with the preparation of the department’s budget and monthly forecasts
- Assist with the administration of the department's shift roster
- Coordinate meetings and maintain diaries where appropriate.
- Arrange travel including air fares, accommodation and hire vehicles for department personnel
- Complete all other assigned administrative tasks in relation to the Production team need
- Demonstrated experience within an administration role.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organisational skills
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- A reliable and punctual worker
