Safety

Safety

At DFP we are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all employees, contractors and visitors. We recognise our moral and legal responsibilities to secure and promote the health, safety and welfare of people at work.

The DFP Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) is certified by an external certification body to be compliant with the safety standard AS/NZS 4801:2001.

Our safety system is internally and externally audited to ensure its effectiveness and that it provides a robust foundation for all DFP operations.

DFP’s OHS policy affirms our commitment to occupational health and safety.

The policy is ongoing and applies to all DFP management, consultants, employees and clients and is to be used in conjunction with policies relating to:

  • Return to Work

  • Occupational Rehabilitation

  • Job Specific Analysis Risk Management

  • OHS Issues Resolution

  • Health and Wellbeing

Our corporate policies are designed and constantly evolving to reflect our commitment to eliminate injuries and harm in the workplace.

DFP is committed to providing OHS training and accepts our duty of care towards our employees. This includes all aspects of their employment including our legislative obligations. In demonstrating this, we continue to take all steps possible to thoroughly brief our employees about potential hazards in the workplace and to ensure that any concerns are brought to our attention, as well as to that of their Supervisor.

Report a Safety Issue– DFP must be informed of a safety incident or any concerns you may have about a safety matter at your workplace. Contact us immediately so we can assist you.
