About the Organisation
 
A large and pivotal federal agency responsible for the delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects and future programs.
 
About the role
 
As an Administration Support Officer and under general direction you will support the delivery of the sections projects by:
  • Providing administrative support to the section, including:
    • the management of team inboxes
    • internal stakeholder engagement, and
    • note taking and records management.
  • Providing input into business process improvement, assisting in development of templates, work instructions and other business tools.
  • Undertake procedural, clerical, administrative support or operational tasks including some research and analysis activities.
  • Coordinating meetings for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Undertaking the drafting of written materials for internal and external audiences, including emails, presentations and reports.
  • Performing other administrative duties as requested by section leaders, commensurate with classification level
Skills and Experience
 
Applicants MUST hold or be able to maintain an active baseline clearance to be eligible for this position.
 
Experience in one or more of the following:
  • Effective stakeholder management with effective verbal and written communication.
  • Strong attention to detail and adaptability to change, including the ability to multi-task and prioritise.
  • Assisting in managing work projects to achieve results.
  • Strong coordination experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
