Job description

We are seeking experienced Call Centre Consultants and Call Centre Supervisors to support inbound enquiries for the upcoming State Election within a high-volume contact centre environment based in the Adelaide CBD.

Successful candidates will provide clear, accurate and professional information to electors, ensuring a high standard of service while maintaining strict neutrality and confidentiality.

These roles are casual and rostered, with 7.5-hour Monday to Friday shifts, some flexibility required closer to peak periods, including limited weekend work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to inbound telephone enquiries relating to the State Election
  • Provide clear, accurate and consistent advice to South Australian electors
  • Assess query complexity and escalate matters to a Supervisor where required
  • Accurately record elector information across multiple systems
  • Follow documented procedures, policies and safety requirements
  • Support Supervisors and Project Managers with administrative tasks as required
Essential Requirements
  • Previous experience in a call centre or high-volume customer service environment
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer and keyboard skills, with confidence using multiple systems
  • Ability to manage high enquiry volumes under pressure
  • Professional telephone manner and attention to detail
  • Proven reliability, punctuality and attendance
  • Australian working rights with ability to provide evidence
  • Availability from late January through to mid-to-late March
  • Availability to work casual, rostered shifts with some flexibility
  • Commitment to confidentiality and procedural compliance
  • No participation in, or intention to participate in, political affairs

  • Roles are engaged by the Electoral Commission of South Australia (ECSA) under Electoral Act terms and conditions
  • Call Centre Supervisors commence from 19 January 2026
  • Call Centre Operators commence from 27 January 2026
