Job description

  • Federal Government opportunity in Newcastle and Surry Hills
  • 12-month contract
  • APS6 $58.50 per hour + super
  • EL1 $585 per day + super (negotiable on experience)

Our client is hiring multiple roles, APS6 Business Process Analyst and EL1 Agile Project Manager.
 
Responsibilities of APS6 Business Process Analyst may include but are not limited to:
  • Capture business requirements and identify underlying business needs whilst understanding strategy and needs of the client.
  • Carry out analysis of present processes and identify opportunities to enhance processes.
  • Translate subject-matter expert and stakeholder discussion into process flows and procedures for the business supporting the implementation of new business process.
  • Identify and document instances where existing business processes may be streamlined or improved.
The Successful Candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Have experience in Business Process Modelling and Process Mapping-Able to translate discussion into process flows and documentation. Experience of process methodologies e.g. six sigma.
  • Experience with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Good interpersonal skills, collaborative skills and stakeholder engagement and management.
  • Experience in data driven organisations is a big plus.


Responsibilities of EL1 Agile Project Manager may include but are not limited to:

  • Organisation, scheduling and management of activities within and across program streams / projects in accordance with the mission and goals of the overarching program.
  • Developing an evaluation method to assess overall program stream / project strengths and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.
  • Contributing to strategy with the Director
 
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Understanding of and experience in agile project management and program management environments.
  • Proven experience in agile product development process and scrum methodology.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills as well as a collaborative team member with great interpersonal skills.
  • Competency in Atlassian applications including JIRA and Confluence and MS soft wares.
  • Attention to detail, organisation, and communication – verbal and written, influencing.
  • Experience in data driven organisations is a big plus.
