Business Improvement Officer - Fremantle, WA - ASAP Start - Ongoing Contract
Rate: $55-65 per hour plus Super (based on previous experience)
Location: Fremantle, WA
Hours: Full-time
Start date: Immediate
Duration: Initial contract until December 2025 (with possible extension)
Our client, a respected organisation based in Fremantle, is seeking a capable and motivated Business Improvement Officer to join their team on a short-term basis.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about driving positive change across systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support the delivery of business improvement initiatives across the organisation
· Assist in the development, implementation, and review of policies and procedures
· Conduct research and analysis to support informed decision-making
· Prepare high-quality reports, briefing notes, and documentation
· Engage with internal and external stakeholders to support cross-agency collaboration
· Contribute to the development and enhancement of Work Health and Safety (WHS) systems
· Monitor project progress and support the coordination of improvement activities
What We’re Looking For:
While candidates with direct business improvement experience will be highly regarded, we also welcome applicants with the following capabilities:
· A solid understanding of Work Health and Safety (WHS) systems
· Experience in stakeholder engagement and cross-agency collaboration
· Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
· Ability to contribute to policy development and implementation
· Excellent written communication skills, including report and briefing paper preparation
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to meaningful work in a dynamic and supportive environment. The role is available immediately and will run through to the end of December 2025, with the possibility of extension.
