Job description

  • Multiple Federal Government opportunities in Sydney CBD
  • Contract until 30th June with the possibility of extension
  • $46 - $55 per hour + super

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Providing contract administrative support. This may include undertaking program assurance activities to ensure procedural compliance.
  • Collating data to inform performance reporting and support program management.
  • General project and administrative duties and general record keeping duties.
  • Undertaking research and analysis.
  • Managing and building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and liaising with them in a professional manner.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including strong representational skills and the ability to provide clear and accurate advice to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Sound analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, program guidelines and contractual frameworks and provide evidence-based advice.
  • The ability to build positive, collaborative working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders (including employers) and anticipate and respond to diverse stakeholder needs and expectations.
  • An understanding of contemporary labour market challenges.
  • Understanding of government processes.
  • Proficient administrative skills
  • Experience in contract and/or project management.
  • Experience with reporting and data analysis.
