Our client, a prominent industry leader, is seeking an innovative Head of Strategy and Insights to join their executive team. Reporting directly to the Chief Information and Technology Officer, this pivotal role will influence the company’s strategic direction through data-driven insights, market intelligence, and operational analytics.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will drive business performance by developing strategic initiatives, optimizing recovery strategies, and embedding data-led decision-making across all functions. You’ll collaborate with senior stakeholders, provide clarity and purpose across the business, and support our client’s ambitious growth agenda.

Key Responsibilities
  • Champion business optimisation and continuous improvement through test-and-learn initiatives.
  • Oversee data generation, advanced analytics, and reporting to inform strategic decisions.
  • Implement emerging technologies such as predictive modelling, machine learning, and AI.
  • Develop and execute long-term strategic plans, including market analysis and benchmarking.
  • Align strategy with business objectives to improve collections effectiveness and governance.
  • Monitor performance metrics, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
  • Drive adoption of digital tools and automation to enhance customer segmentation and profitability.
  • Advise the executive team on strategic initiatives and lead a high-performing analytics team.
  • Collaborate across Technology, Operations, Sales, Finance, and external partners.
  • Deliver strategic programs and new technologies to support onboarding and service delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Tertiary qualification in IT or a related business discipline (desired).
  • Minimum 3 years of people leadership experience, ideally in financial services or collections.
  • At least 5 years in business analysis or corporate strategy.
  • Expertise in credit risk strategy, collection strategy, and portfolio analytics.
  • Strong understanding of credit functions, finance, and business drivers.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including presenting to senior leadership.
