Job description

The Opportunity
We are looking for an APS4 Procurement Reporting Officer to join a large Federal Government Agency for a 12 month assignment based in Canberra, Brisbane and Geelong.
The position will be required to undertake operational, administrative support , reporting, contract areas and may undertake some research and analysis activities. 

Duties include:
  • Manage all corporate master data.
  • Entering, extracting, and manipulating data in the agency systems to enable accurate agency reporting.
  • Providing support and training for ongoing system and data projects.
  • Manage and drafting procurement/contract documentation.
  • Processing invoices and tracking spend against budget.
To be considered for this role you will demonstrate:
  • Experience in procurement sector, perform procedural, clerical, administrative and operational tasks.
  • Strong communication and writing skills, being able to write succinctly across communications platforms and for different audiences.
  • Building cohesive relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders to manage the co-design procurement activities encouraging diverse views to work collaboratively towards mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Experience in maintaining procedures for data collection, input, management, and quality control.
  • Experience managing competing priorities while maintaining high work standards and accuracy.
  • Experience in applying advanced Excel skills, knowledge on SAP based systems and other business systems to extract data.
