DFP Recruitment is seeking a Senior Procurement Officer to join a Correctional Services team within State Government, supporting the procurement function across a diverse portfolio. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality procurement outcomes, ensuring compliance with NSW Government policies, and driving value for money through strategic supplier engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage procurement processes including tenders, contract negotiations and vendor management
- Provide expert advice on procurement and contract management to internal stakeholders and executives
- Develop and implement procurement plans, risk registers, probity frameworks, and governance structures
- Prepare and manage tender evaluation plans, reporting, and recommendations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to scope projects, define service specifications, and ensure optimal outcomes
- Proven experience in complex government procurement (NSW Government highly desirable)
- Strong understanding of compliance, probity and value for money principles
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and provide strategic procurement advice
- Strong communication and documentation skills – able to produce briefs, reports and submissions
- A natural leader with the ability to guide and support junior team members
- Location: Correctional Complex (Berkshire Park) + option to work from an office located in Parramatta
- WFH: 1 day per week
- Duration: ASAP start – 13 March 2026
- Hours: 35hrs/week
- Clearances: National Criminal Record Check pass required
- Work Rights: Australian work rights required
- Driver’s Licence: Required
