Job description

DFP Recruitment are partnering with an organisation that has continued to grow even when Victoria was in complete lockdown. They have weathered the storm and have come through really strong on a national scale along with branching out into the UK.
Due to this continued growth, they are now looking to bring on board a Software Implementation Consultant. This is a newly created permanent opportunity offering $140,000 + Superannuation (possibly more based on your previous and current experience).
This position is a hybrid role with their office based in Richmond when required to attend any internal meetings.
As a Software Implementation Consultant, you will be responsible for successfully implementing solutions for their clients using their developed platform. You will work with a Project Administrator and a small team of technical professionals to manage the implementation.
You will have a clear understanding of the client’s business and work internally with the implementation and solution delivery teams to ensure that the appropriate resources and skills are allocated to provide a solution that meets the client’s needs and is delivered on time, within budget and within scope.
You will likely manage several engagements at any one time depending on the project complexity and maturity of the client relationship. 

Skills and Experience Required:
● Proven experience in implementations and hands on delivery of software solutions, ideally within SaaS environment.
● Advanced analytical skills including ability to interpret complex business needs and develop appropriate client supported solutions, ideally gained in a software implementation environment.
● Advanced skills in workshop facilitation and requirement elicitation techniques.
● Experience in writing user stories and structuring requirements within an Agile framework.
● Ability to work within both waterfall and agile models.
● Problem solving skills and ability to think creatively, effective time management and prioritisation, ability to work productively in fast-paced environments.
● Outstanding stakeholder engagement with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Google Suite, Jira, Confluence and PM related tracking tools.
● Business analysis tools and techniques e.g., BDD (Behaviour Driven Development) for requirements specifications, workshop facilitation, prioritisation techniques, business rules analysis, scope modelling.
