Administrative Assistant – State Government | Health, Welfare & Safety Division 

Rate: $45–$50 per hour + Super 
Location: Perth CBD 
Hours: 37.5 per week – flexible start and finish times 
Duration: 6-month contract to 30 June 2026, with potential for extension or permanency 
Type: Temporary casual contract with opportunity for ongoing employment

We’re seeking two proactive and organised Administrative Assistants to join a friendly, high-performing team within the Health, Welfare & Safety Division. You’ll be part of a workplace that values collaboration, offers on-the-job training, and provides flexibility to help you balance work and life.  

What You’ll Be Doing 
  • Processing medical expense invoices using an online platform 
  • Delivering outstanding customer service – in person, by phone, and via email 
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to smooth daily operations 
  • Supporting colleagues across a range of administrative functions 
What You’ll Bring 
  • Experience in accounts administration or financial processing 
  • Exposure to a medical or health-related environment (advantageous) 
  • A sharp eye for detail and a methodical, organised approach 
  • Confident communication skills and a genuine team spirit 
  • Enthusiasm to learn – full on-the-job training provided
