Contract Duration: 12 months
Commencement: ASAP
Location: Fremantle & Kwinana, WA
Hours: Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week
Hourly rate: $51.40 per hour +super 

About the Role

Join a small, dynamic team as a Security Service Centre Issuing Officer, supporting the application and renewal process for Access Cards and Maritime Security Identification Cards (MSICs). This role is critical in maintaining compliance with Department of Home Affairs (DHA) requirements and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the integrity of SSC processes in line with DHA requirements
  • Contact customers to request additional information
  • Process applications, perform data entry, and issue MSICs and Access Cards
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with customers
  • Reconcile SSC financial transactions
  • Retain MSIC records and assist with report preparation
  • Liaise with government agencies and bodies
Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in administration or customer service (MSIC/maritime experience preferred)
  • Strong computer skills and accurate data entry
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with database programs is advantageous
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and customer focus
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • A valid MSIC is highly advantageous
