Job description

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable AO3 Operations Officer for a part-time agency contract role based in Cannon Hill. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the operations of a modern government facility and contribute to the success of the DWC program.

About the Role:Reporting to the DWC Coordinator, you’ll be the front-facing support for the Logan DWC—ensuring the smooth daily operations of the site. Your strong customer service, organisational, and problem-solving skills will be key in maintaining a high standard of service and functionality.

This is to start immediately to 31 January 2026 with the potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations and resources of the DWC
  • Provide concierge-style front-of-house services
  • Liaise with stakeholders and assist DWC users
  • Oversee registration, induction and training processes
  • Manage facilities, contractors, minor works and deliveries
  • Respond to enquiries via the Logan DWC email account
  • Maintain the booking system (OfficeMaps) and security access (C-Cure)
  • Support workplace safety as First Aid Officer/Floor Warden
  • Coordinate supply orders and consumables
  • Assist with data collection and weekly reporting

Essential: 
  • Ideally live locally to Cannon Hill for operational availability
  • Fixed 2 days per week are Thursday and Friday (2 days/week)
  • Onsite work only – no remote work available

Desirable:
  • Knowledge and enthusiasm for the location
  • Lives in close proximity to Cannon Hill 
  • Holds a current First Aid certificate
