This role is essential in supporting the efficient operation of our depot and plant activities, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely.

Are you a highly organised individual with a knack for administration and logistics? We’re looking for a proactive Depot & Plant Admin Support Officer to join our team in Northam. This role is essential in supporting the efficient operation of our depot and plant activities, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support to the Plant / Depot Officer.
- Assist with monthly depot inspections and maintain cleanliness across all depot sites, including tertiary depots.
- Conduct monthly inventory checks of depot materials (e.g., signs, emulsion, gravel, aggregates).
- Order materials and supplies in line with Main Roads procurement policies.
- Complete maintenance checklists for fleet vehicles, including those whose custodians are on leave.
- Coordinate vehicle servicing and repairs with the Plant / Depot Manager.
- Manage bookings for pool vehicles and maintain the vehicle key register (Smartrak).
- Enter data for Light Vehicle Usage Reports and Plant Servicing into the Plant Management System (Uniqco).
- Process insurance claims for vehicle damage, liaising with Fleetcare, DAC, ICWA, and other stakeholders.
- Organise cleaning and detailing of vehicles with expired leases before return.
- Drive Main Roads vehicles as required (C Class Licence essential).
- Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Solid understanding of business and administrative processes, including procurement.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy.
- Accurate record-keeping and attention to detail.
- A valid C Class Driver’s Licence
