Our State Government client is seeking a proactive AO3 Project Support Officer to join the Natural Disaster Program Team, responsible for delivering the region’s reconstruction projects. This role provides high-level administrative and project support to ensure timely, compliant, and effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to project managers, including coordinating meetings, taking minutes, preparing reports, maintaining registers and spreadsheets, and preparing presentations.
- Support project delivery activities such as financial approvals, contract administration, procurement documentation, liaising with external parties, and assisting with tender processes.
- Ensure accurate compilation, tracking, and recording of infrastructure project documentation, following up to meet deadlines.
- Assist multiple project managers to complete tasks within specified timelines.
- Maintain compliance with departmental policies, legislation (including WH&S), and governance standards.
About you:
- Experience in administrative and project support roles.
- Skilled in document management, reporting, and coordinating tasks.
- Knowledge of contract administration and procurement processes.
- Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a team environment.
- Understands compliance, legislation, and governance requirements.
- Proficient in computer software, databases, and information systems.
