Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced AO5 Senior Accommodation Planner to manage medium to major Government office accommodation projects. Reporting to the Principal Accommodation Manager, you will plan, coordinate, and oversee projects within your geographic area, while contributing to policy and accommodation strategies across Government.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement office accommodation strategies to improve Government office portfolio performance.
  • Generate, review, and present accurate property data to inform recommendations.
  • Manage projects and programs of various scales, ensuring cost, time, and quality targets are met.
  • Apply knowledge of office interior design, fitout project management, and relevant legislation.
  • Comprehend architectural and services plans, with experience using AutoCAD.
  • Communicate effectively, negotiate, and resolve conflicts in a complex environment.
Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in accommodation planning and project management.
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Demonstrated negotiation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
Please note that this position will initially be fully office-based for the first three months. After this period, remote work arrangements can be negotiated if the role is extended.
