Superannuation - Advice Coordinator

Job description

Our client in the superannuation industry is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a genuine interest in financial advice. The ideal candidate thrives on building client connections and will play a key role in supporting members by identifying their financial advice needs and drive them in the right direction.

About the role:

As an Advice Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting members by understanding their financial advice needs and guiding them towards the most suitable advice pathway. Whether you’re providing compliant General Advice or connecting members with a Financial Adviser for personal advice, you’ll ensure every interaction is seamless, professional, and supportive — from first contact through to post-appointment follow-up.

Working within the Superannuation and Retirement Advice team, you’ll triage enquiries, educate members on superannuation, gather relevant information, coordinate appointments, and maintain accurate records across advice systems. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role where your communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to exceptional service will truly shine.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Triage member enquiries to identify their advice needs and direct them to the appropriate adviser or service pathway.
  • Provide compliant General Advice and education on superannuation topics.
  • Coordinate and schedule financial advice appointments, guiding members through requirements and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records in Xplan and CRM systems to support smooth and compliant advice delivery.
  • Assist financial advisers with initial fact-finding, product research, and preparation.
  • Conduct post-implementation follow-ups to ensure member satisfaction and engagement.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team focused on service excellence and continuous improvement.
About You:

You’re a motivated, service-oriented professional who thrives in a member-focused, fast-moving environment. With a genuine interest in financial advice and helping others achieve their goals, you bring enthusiasm, initiative, and teamwork to everything you do. You communicate confidently, stay composed through change, and take pride in delivering quality outcomes that make a real difference for members.

What You’ll Bring:

  • RG146 Accreditation in Superannuation and a strong passion for financial advice.
  • Completed or currently studying a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning.
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a strong member-first mindset.
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills with both members and colleagues.
  • Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic, high-volume environment.
  • Collaborative approach and ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Commercial awareness and focus on achieving member-centric results.
  • Integrity, professionalism, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Why Join Us:

We’re committed to creating a workplace where you’re supported to grow, thrive, and maintain a healthy work-life balance. You’ll enjoy:
  • Flexible work options – work up to 50% of your week from home.
  • Up to 18 weeks of paid parental leave plus superannuation.
  • Option to purchase additional leave.
  • Clear career pathways and professional development support.
  • Reward and recognition programs.
  • Access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
