APS6 Finance Officer
  • 12-month contract (possible extension)
  • Deakin Location
  • $60.26 / Per Hour / + Super
About the role 
The APS6 Finance Officer will provide detailed technical, professional, policy, operational support and advice in relation to complex problems. It may be required to coordinate and assist in the strategic planning, program and project management and policy development that supports the agencies objectives.
 
Duties
  • Preparing credit card, accounts payable, debtors and employee debt reports.
  • Shared Services Volumetric Reporting and reconciliations to confirm the accuracy of AP, AR and CC volumes reported by Services Australia.
  • Following up outstanding AP/AR and credit card transactions.
  • Preparing support for direct payments.
  • Liaising with Services Australia to discuss AP, AR and credit card improvements and issues.
  • Managing the Finance Service Desk for AP, AR and credit card to ensure requests are being resolved efficiently and identify improvements.
  • Analyse Services Requests to identify key issues and compile educational material and updates to SOPs, Finance Policies and Confluence FAQ’s, processes, and procedures.
  • Preparing the Agency Employee Debts Reports.
  • Preparing AP, AR, and Credit Card slides for inclusion in Executive pack.
  • Developing automated processes so reports can be prepared more efficiently.
