The Opportunity
DFP Recruitment are currently supporting a medium to large Federal Government agency in sourcing multiple APS4 Case Officer for a national program.
This contract offers a generous hourly rate with accrued leave, overtime and 15.4% superannuation.

Our ideal candidate will have strong abilities in interpreting and applying legislation. Your background may include a range of experience including but not limited to case management, nursing, complaints handling, social work and dealing with reportable incidents.

Responsibilities
The Case Officer will be required to manage aspects of the end-to-end process for applications. In addition, the Case Officer will be exposed to sensitive material and may have exposure to difficult issues that could require liaising with a range of internal stakeholders. You will:
- Complete administrative functions to support the work of the team including ensuring compliance with policy and processes, including draft correspondence and notices using agreed formats and structured guidelines.
- Read, review and triage applications.
- Assist with monitoring group mailboxes.
- Undertake quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of information and procedures.
- Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrate self-awareness and ability to self-manage in a complex, changing environment.
- Ensure the timely progression of applications to support trauma informed best practice
About You
